Located on the Joseph P Gentile Apartments, this vibrant mural honors the bravery required for a lifetime of service and underscores the vital role of community elders in passing down wisdom and cultural heritage. Symbolic elements enrich the mural: the White Lily, Italy's national flower, represents hope, purity, and renewal; the Red Poppy honors veterans; the Blue Anemone, flourishing in both Italy and Puerto Rico, signifies resilience; and the Narcissus embodies endurance and the strength to thrive amidst adversity. The dynamic red and white background lines reflect the shared colors of the Italian, American, and Puerto Rican flags, symbolizing unity across these cultures.​ 

Lula Goce, from Galicia, Spain, is renowned for her large-scale, photorealistic murals that seamlessly blend human figures with nature, characterized by vivid colors and expressive depth. Her artistic journey includes advanced studies in artistic creation and a Ph.D. from the University of Barcelona. Goce's work has graced walls worldwide, participating in numerous art festivals and exhibitions, and she is recognized for infusing urban spaces with poetic narratives that invite reflection on the interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world.
