YOUR GIFT BEAUTIFIES OUR SHARED SPACES

It’s hard to believe in the things we never see.  What would we believe - about ourselves and each other – if our public spaces were full of big, beautiful, permanent art that celebrates people just like us?

Let's find out. Your gift goes directly to create murals that celebrate the hopes, histories and heroes of people living in Springfield now.

Your Gift Boosts Local Businesses

  • Your donation directly invests in Springfield’s vibrant neighborhoods, stimulating economic growth and permanently enhancing the city through impactful murals.

  • Over 60% of our production spending supports local small businesses, ensuring your contribution stays within our community.

  • Stories of our work on TV, radio, print and social media coverage celebrate the best of Springfield are seen by millions of people every year.

  • Surveys show up to 93% of residents believe murals make Springfield a more desirable place to shop, dine, attend events, and live. 72% say murals improve neighborhood walkability, and all respondents are more likely to revisit for future activities.

Your Gift Nurtures Community Connections

Our community-engaged process creates meaningful connections between neighbors and people new to each other.

An independent evaluation found that our mural projects are “an excellent platform for engaging a broad spectrum of individuals in multiple ways. Stakeholders consistently noted the array of individuals across differences of age, race, and ethnicity who mingled and interacted positively with one another and the muralists.” — Fresh Paint Springfield 2019: Public Art and Economy in the Renaissance of a Massachusetts City  (add link: Read the full Impact Evaluation here.)
